Flanged Top Entry Ball Valve

Top entry ball valve is a type of valve that is used to control the flow of fluid or gas. Top entry ball valves are usually installed on pipes and are made up of a metal body, a bonnet, a seat, and a ball. The seat sits inside the metal body, and it has an opening that allows fluids to pass through when opened by the ball rotating on its axis. When closed, there are two sealing surfaces: one between the ball and the seat, and one between the seat’s edge and the opening in the body.
